This is my company called Cretia Elements. I’ve always wanted to get into the home-goods marketplace with clever and useful ideas, utilizing interesting forms. I sketch my ideas first, then use Blender 3D to build the products, then I 3D print them with a Bambu 3D printer.

This is something I do for fun and to practice developing quick sketch models from loose sketches also called “Napkin Sketches”. My goal is to capture the energy and feel of the original sketch into a 3D Model while staying in the confines of a resolved package. These models help me keep my modeling skills in Blender nice and sharp!

about me
Hi, I’m Daniel and I’m a Product Designer. My philosophy is that design should be thoughtful, intuitive and intriguing. I feel good design should be useful and easily integrate into our lives. It should be approachable, clever and focus on the needs of the user. Good design should be holistic and an asset to the person and the environment as a whole. It is not pretentious or over done. I often see my designs as characters in a scene, in the sense that the form must be appropriate to the function. It should be a seamless and an integral part of its environment.
My strengths would be my ideation phase of the design process and converting that into tangible 3D objects. I’m comfortable generating large quantities of ideas. I have a strong grasp of proportions, graphic breakups, prolific sketches, 3D realization, and unique design solutions.
Empathy is a critical component in design, it’s also a big component of being a good person.

Created compelling, comprehensive design concepts and ideas for vehicles. Focused concentration on exterior transportation design. Produced buyer profiles and market research to influence design. Developed concepts through sketch ideation, visual renderings, proportion studies, mock-ups and engineering specification layouts. Presented concepts in professional forums using refined 3D digital and physical models in stunning presentation displays.

Founded and created a consumer home-goods company featuring lighting elements and kitchen products. Designed website, marketing campaign, logo and all branding, utilizing certain ai resources. Developed a line of products utilizing sketching ideation, 3D modeling, rapid prototyping and 3D printing as well as various finishing techniques.

Designed structures and activations for consumer experiences influenced by form, environment graphics and technology for an array of different clients for product rollouts, brand recognition and advertising campaigns. Utilized sketching and 3D rendering software as well as Adobe programs for graphic layouts, campaign pitches and presentations for client. Oversaw broader aspects of production and relevant adjustments for actual realized activation using renders as a visual map.

Ideated, designed and 3D modeled a hovering, omni-directional vehicle for a VR environment. Utilized sketching techniques for drama, as well as compelling renderings for design proposals. Used skills from experiential design to adhere to company branding, color and material breakups as well as desired design language and theme.
